When is the best time to paint the exterior of my home in Modesto or Turlock?
Late May through September is the most reliable window in the Central Valley. Warm, dry weather lets paint cure properly and bond to the surface. Spring and early fall can work well too, on dry days when temperatures stay within the range printed on the paint label. What exterior paint do you use and why does it hold up better in Central Valley heat?
We use Vista Paint Corp Weather Master on all exterior projects. It's a thick, elastomeric-style coating applied with a large pump sprayer that provides more material on the surface than standard latex paints. That extra film build is important in the Central Valley, where summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F and intense UV exposure can accelerate fading, peeling and cracking. It holds up far longer than thinner-film alternatives.
How long does a typical fencing or painting project take?
Most residential projects go from consultation to completion in 3 to 5 days. During our peak season from April through November, bookings typically have a one-week lead time. We work Monday through Saturday to keep projects moving.
What does your 5-year workmanship warranty cover?
Our 5-year warranty covers all labor and workmanship on fencing and painting projects. If something fails due to how the work was done — not normal wear or weather — we come back and fix it. We stand behind every job.
